“l’Arte si fa e non si spiega”, “Art is to be made, not explained” : Michelangelo Buonarroti.
Art by Claudio Assandri
The artwork from Claudio Assandri covers many directions. He is a sculptor, painter, illustrator, designer and photographer, as well as a researcher and writer.
His work is multi-faceted and anything but boring. It leads you from beautiful sculptures made from raw lava stone lightened up with fire, really fine sketches with pencil and gold paint, to paintings made with coffee while seated in a cafe in Piazza Navona.
Assandri is inspired by history, archeology and life.
While he is still working on his sculptures and paintings he started a new project, which is something really new and unique from Italy. Exclusive designs for Italian Summers as well as a fascinating column called “Claudio’s Italy”
