The apartment is in the heart of Rome by the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and in Monti district

The inviting apartment in historical Rome is centrally located in a small, quiet cobble stoned alley. When you walk out of the alley from the apartment and you turn left, you walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Piazza Venezia, all in about 5 minutes walking distance. Also Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are all in walking distance, an approximately 15/20 minutes walk. For the hip and trendy Monti district you just cross the street and within two minutes you are there!

You dont like walking?

At the corner of the street you can rent bicycles and scooters. A short way towards The Forum and Colosseum you find taxis and if you prefer to take the bus, that stops at the main street at 1 minute walk. So, whatever you’re looking for, it’s all within reach.

Our Colosseum|Monti apartment is located in a private historic and authentic building

The cheerful house, Casa Cuore di Roma, is on the third floor of an old, authentic palazzino. The neighborhood is quaint and the house gives you a secure feeling. Both the ground floor and the second floor are occupied by local Italian families. There is no elevator but only three small flights will take you to the third floor.  All neat and tidy!

Look around the corners

We think the best way to a city or a neighborhood like best is to discover by just go wander around and see what comes your way. But because you may still have a few days here some tips from us.

Stay away from sudden restaurants

In the entire neighborhood around the apartment you have restaurants, specially in the Monti neighborhood across the street. But please stay away from the restaurants along major roads such as Via Cavour where the waiters try to talk you in. Stay away, tourist traps. Go and have a look in hidden corner of the piazza’s and in the little alleys. Look where the locals eat.

Monti neighborhood

Across the street from the apartment you find the Monti neighborhood, one of the trendiest neighborhoods of the moment. Take a look at the Piazza Madonna dei Monti, with the fountain in the middle. The vibrant heart of Monti, especially in the evenings. Stroll on through the cobblestone streets and you will find designer shops, boutiques and second-hand shops. Definitely go to Via Urbana and  Via del Boschetto.
